Buster Busted

It is true.  Buster is a sink sleeper.  Late at night, after the lights go out, Buster sneaks into the bathroom and jumps up into the sink.  The oval shaped basin is a perfect fit for his stomach.

Trying a New Look

Buster has been trying so hard to make Cookie like him.  Ellie suggested he try a new look.  He borrowed some doll clothes from Caroline and tried on a few hats.  "How do I look, Cookie?" he asked hopefully.  She turned up her nose in distain and walked under the bed.  He'll have to try something else.

It's Exhausting Being Good All the Time

Buster has been trying to make everybody happy. He snuggles with the people. He sleeps quietly through the night. He doesn't whine when he's hungry. He comes when he's called. But those two girls are hard to please. They tease him and then they run away. When he chases them, they tattle on him. At night he wants to sleep with the people, but the girls chase him off the bed. Thank goodness there are plenty of soft places to catch a cat nap.

Work-Out Time

Buster's day started a little early. Cookie wanted to give him a pep talk before exercises began. She told him he was a fatty and he needed to put more effort into his workout. Buster's feelings were a little hurt, so Ellie gave him an encouraging kiss on the nose.

Then Cookie started in with an aerobic dance routine. She jumped and twisted. She rocked and rolled. She is a big show off.

When she was finished, she looked around to see if Buster was keeping up with her.

Buster was fast asleep. There's always tomorrow.

Tough Cookie

Buster met his trainer yesterday. Her name is Cookie, AKA Tough Cookie. She made Buster run laps around the house all day. Also included in the workout were runs up and down the stairs and several low-crawls under the bed. When Buster tried to rest, she hissed "Fatty!" She refused to let him take a break for a snack. I think Buster is off to a good start. Needless to say, he had a good night's sleep, with lots of snoring.

Buster, The Amazing Cat Finds a Home

Here is Buster The Amazing Cat. He recently moved from the confinement of a cinderblock and plywood cell to a luxurious life in a cushy environment with WINDOWS! Buster is looking happier already. Yes, it is hard to believe, but last week he had an even grumpier face. Twenty-one pound Buster will begin work with a personal trainer this week. He needs to trim down to a healthy sixteen pounds.
